  • The Gardens of Castle Trauttmansdorff are located at the sunny slope above Merano and show its exposition of plants flourishing all over the world.

  • The South Tyrolean museum of Archeology in Bozen displays a comprehensive account of the history of settlement in the area and is now the new “home” of the man in the ice (Ötzi). In the MMM - Messner Mountain Museum at the castle Schloss Sigmundskron near Bozen, the world-famous mountaineer Reinhold Messner leads you into the fascinating world of mountains. It is definitely worth a visit!
